I found the character development of Colonel Fitzwilliam particularly fascinating. Men who have seen war, especially at the grand level Wasylowski has laid out her Fitzwilliam, are hardly ever unaffected/5(91).

Mr. and Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy Two Shall Become One: Pride and Prejudice Continues (Book): Lathan, Sharon: Through the honeymoon and then the challenges of Elizabeth assuming the role of Mistress of Pemberley, the Fitzwilliams' passion and love for each other grows. To Lizzy's delight, Darcy's sister, Georgiana, returns home just as Christmas preparations are underway, but all is not . Characters Fitzwilliam Darcy The son of a wealthy, well-established family and the master of the great estate of Pemberley, Darcy is Elizabeth’s male counterpart. The narrator relates Elizabeth’s point of view of events more often than Darcy’s, so Elizabeth often seems a more sympathetic figure.

Instead, as Wickham's request, Darcy gave him 3, pounds to use to study law. Wickham squandered the money, tried to get more from Darcy, and when that failed, tried to elope with Darcy's sister. Darcy directs Elizabeth to ask Colonel Fitzwilliam for confirmation of anything she questions in his letter.   Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy I thought this book to be interesting. Darcy and Elizabeth's constant misunderstandings go a little too far, but overall I thought the twist on the story very interesting. More Books by Abigail Reynolds See All. I feel a bit conned by this book to be honest, it's called Darcy and Fitzwilliam, but although there is a character called Darcy, it's not Austen's Darcy. Nowhere near. Neither is his wife Austen's Elizabeth, she's a bit of an evil tempered, stroppy, petulant room wrecker/5().

The book wins points for originality in that someone finally cares about Colonel Fitzwilliam, but this book would have been better if Elizabeth and Darcy were kept out of it. I read a great deal of Pride and Prejudice fan fiction and I can go along with new imaginings/5. Another hilarious and thrilling book from Wasylowski.

Made me laugh and cry with the ever growing brood of Darcy's and Fitzwilliam's. We entered ina few years after the last book ended. Matthew, the Fitzwilliam heir was at the forefront of this book, when his life took a dramatic turn.

Old secrets was revealed and old acquaintances returned/5(13). The second book in Wasylowski's family saga of the gentleman and officer. If you have not read the first book of Darcy and Fitzwilliam I would advise you to do so. The highlight of this book, and the entire serie, is the cleverly written banter, dry wit and snarky comments/5(73).
